Hello everyone! My name is Caitlin Trutt and I am in my junior year of college. I am an English major with a double concentration in childhood education and special education, and I have created this blog for my Science and Technology Methods course. This semester is guaranteed to be different than what we're all used to because it is centered around remote learning. While I, along with most of my classmates, would much rather be in the classroom, I think this semester will be a challenge that will help all of us in the long run as we deal with such difficult times. Even with all of these obstacles, I have already done so much in only the first few weeks of this semester. In my science methods course, we have had the opportunity to go through many new resources that are helpful to classroom teachers. Resources such as FlipGrid, collaborative Google Slides, and the app "Slack" are new tools I now have access to which can help in virtual learning in the future. This semester will definitely be a big challenge, but I am excited to see where it takes me.
